Wounded Veterans Play Wheelchair Rugby
FOUR wounded veterans have had their first day of training for a wheelchair rugby festival.
The team, from the Help for Heroes Recovery Centre, in Colchester, are taking part in the BT Wheelchair Rugby Community Festival in October at the Olympic Park, Stratford.
The three wheelchair users and one able-bodied veteran began learning how to manoeuvre the specially- designed chairs with GB coach, Luke White. They will train at the Garrison’s Corporal Budd VC Gym.
