A CALENDAR featuring special moments between children and their soldier parents is on the lookout for pictures for 2016.
The My Daddy is a Soldier Adventures charity, which supports Army children, is launching its annual competition to find touching photos.
The 2015 Me and My Soldier calendar included three Colchester families, including Emilia Winson, then four months old.
The photograph showed her sleeping on her dad, Ryan’s, uniform and wearing his maroon beret.
Charity founder Louise Fetigan said: “The bond in an Army family is very special and we know how tough it can be when a soldier is away.
“Capturing those moments at home provide some of the best memories for our families.
“We are privileged that so many choose to share them with us.”
The 12 best pictures will be featured in the calendar.
The sender of the best entry wins a Hudl2 tablet.
Cinema vouchers will go to the second and third place entries.
Pictures should be emailed to competition@mydaddyisasoldieradven tures.org or posted to My Daddy is a Soldier Adventures, 4b 80 High Street, Egham, Surrey TW20 9HE, including name, age and a contact number.
The closing date is September 20.
