Smoke rolls through house on fire in Roman Road
SMOKE was seen rolling through the windows and chimney of a house in Roman Road in Colchester at around 12:30pm today.
Builders who smelt smoke called the police and fire service to the house. The home owners returned later.
Police have confirmed that the property is all clear and there were no injuries. There are no suspicious circumstances as to how the fire was started.
