A HERD of charitable reindeer galloped around Colchester’s Castle Park to raise money for St Helena Hospice.
Some 200 fundraisers donned red noses and antlers as they took on a 3km course at the second annual Reindeer Dash despite the grey skies on Sunday.
The huge pack of Rudolphs, Dashers and Dancers then went onto the nearby Winter Wonderland to continue the festivities.
Events fundraiser at the hospice Angie Diggins said: “It was a great day and everybody enjoyed dashing in their reindeer antlers and flashing noses.
“We had lots of laughs and fun throughout the day and the participants got to have a look around the stalls at the winter wonderland too which was lovely.
“A big thank you to all the volunteers and participants for making it such an amazing day.”
Lisa Wallis came from Hatfield Peverel to take part and donned a special onesie for the day.
She said: “We did the Reindeer Dash last year and wanted to do it again this year because it’s for a great cause, its great fun and a fun day out for all the family.”
