A SUSPECTED gang of teenage thugs allegedly armed with weapons, including golf clubs, have denied taking part in running street battles after a row started in a club during a night out in Clacton.
Franky Brown, 18, of Langham Drive, Clacton, did not enter a plea to charges including one count of affray and one count of causing actual bodily harm.
Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard, yesterday, Brown is accused of trying to get his dog to attack a group of people during the incidents on July 11.
Louie Renaut, 18, of Fleetwood Avenue, Holland-on-Sea, indicated not guilty pleas to two counts of assault occasioning ABH and one count of affray.
Jake Cushway, 19, of Hyacinth Close and Conor Bruff, 19, of St John’s Road, both of Clacton both deny single counts of affray.
Brown was remanded into custody and the other three released on bail.
They will return to court to formally enter pleas at Ipswich Crown Court on May 31.
