A combine harvester in a barn in Inworth set alight this afternoon
FIRE crews were called to a combine harvester that had set alight in Kelvedon Road, Inworth this afternoon.
Two crews from Maldon station and one from Coggeshall attended the scene at 1.34pm and used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire by 2.24pm.
The agricultural vehicle was inside a barn at the time and the crews had to wear breathing apparatus when tackling the fire.
