TWO new additions to Colchester High Street have been attracting attention.
Bronze statues Walking Woman and Man with Cup were officially unveiled today outside Fenwick by Hugo Fenwick, sculptor Sean Henry, councillor Annie Feltham (LibDem), councillor Tim Young (Lab), and Mayor Julie Young.
Man with Cup, which stands at 4ft 6in, and 7ft Walking Woman were designed by Mr Henry, who regularly has work exhibited across Europe, in London and New York.
He previously said: "These two sculptures, although based on real people, are deliberately anonymous and set out to celebrate our united humanity.
"They will share the public space of the High Street with us and so offer the viewer something to identify with, to ask questions about and hopefully relate to."
We'd love to know what you think of the new sculptures. Leave us a comment below.
