COLCHESTER'S Chameleon's Web Theatre Company round off their mini-tour of the area with a double-dose of George Bernard Shaw's comedy of class and manners at the home of community theatre.
Once again director Suzanne Bailey has got together a sumptuous cast including Joseph Sales and Phoebe Stringer in the leads for what promises to be another smash hit.

THE organisers of this year's Essex Book Festival can give themselves another hearty slap on the back for a job well done. What better way to celebrate, in a let your hair down kind of way, than by watching a man dressed up as a prima ballerina and dancing a jig or two to the Hosepipe Band.

IT'S the world music group's first concert of the year and so expect plenty of new treats, this time from the American Gospel and Blues traditions.

YAY it's the first event in Colchester's Castle Park and so that means summer is definitely on the way. Now in its 8th year attractions include Savage Bike Skills Display Team, Birds of Prey flying displays and the popular Dog and Duck Show. There's also arts, crafts, food and drink as well as The Companion Dog Show on the Sunday.
