AN artist is getting into the celebratory spirit ahead of this weekend’s Royal wedding by putting his own stamp on the event.
Chris Naylor has recreated the official engagement photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - using his trusty lawnmower and plenty of grass.
He was commissioned by bookmakers Ladbrokes to mow the picture of the royal couple into farmland in Braintree.
It took the artist more than 40 hours to create the 16 by 16 metre masterpiece using a mower, a strimmer and small garden tools to get the details just right.
The royal wedding between Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle will take place this Saturday at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
The BBC has waived the licence fee for the event.
