A NEW tattoo shop has opened in Colchester, and staff are making a grand entrance.
Black Hope Tattoos opened in Trinity Street and staff are looking forward to welcoming customers by hosting a charity event.
All money raised from tattoos and merchandise will go to St Helena Hospice, Colchester Night Shelter and Colchester Cat Rescue.
Staff are charging between £30 and £50 for each charity tattoo, on September 22.
They will be operating on a first come first served basis, doors will open at 9am and staff will be giving out numbered tickets.
Amanda Wright, from the tattoo shop, said: “We have been working in the tattoo industry for about 11 years. We wanted to bring change to Colchester with a new style of tattooing.”
“One of the main differences with this tattoo shop is that it’s a warm, clean and welcoming environment.”
Tattoos include Japanese style and black and grey realism.
