TOTS were tumbling and stretching at a baby gymnastics session.
Annette Bateson runs the Iceni Gymnastics Club in Moss Road, Colchester.
The club also holds weekly baby gym sessions for babies and children up to five years old.
The children get to play on balance beams, bars and soft equipment.
Annette said the parent and toddler class was proving popular.
She said: “These classes first started in August 2015 when we moved into our own premises.
“The children have an hour-long session and it’s mostly free play, so they can climb and jump on the soft apparatus.
“They then come and sit down with me for a more structured session and we use the hand apparatus.”
She said the classes have attracted a lot of attention and she hopes to start more weekly classes soon.
She said: “We get a lot of regulars come back and as soon as they walk through the door the shoes are off and they know what apparatus they want to play with.”
More baby gym classes will be held during the week from April. They will take place from 9.30am Monday to Friday for children up to three-years-old and from 10.30 and 11.30 for children up to five-years-old.
