Lidl has taken salt and pepper shakers off its shelves after it was feared they could contain shards of glass.
The brand issued an alert of the Kania Salt Mills and Kania pepper mills after concerns were raised they may contain small pieces of glass.
Anyone who has brought the product is advised not to eat it and return it to a store.
The recall is for the 120g salt mills and 50g pepper mills.
It only affects best before dates of 2024 with the batch codes 9032AA, 9032BA, 9032CA, 9032CB, 9033AB & 9033AC (salt) & 02/2024 (pepper).
The recall said: “If you have bought the above product we advise you not to eat it. Instead, return it to a Lidl GB store for a full refund, with or without a receipt.
“Other Kania products are not affected by this recall. Lidl GB wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
