A TEENAGER was robbed of a pair of headphones and cash after being intimidated in Colchester.
The 17-year-old was walking near to the Co-op, in Mersea Road, at around 4.15pm on Tuesday, February 26, when he was approached by the suspect.
The man asked to borrow the victim's phone and feeling intimidated the teenager agreed.
He then demanded the teenager's headphones in exchange for the phone.
The victim co-operated and feeling at risk of harm he gave him more than £10 in cash.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "The man has been described as being aged in his late teens, 6ft tall and wore a grey jacket, black jeans, sunglasses and a gold chain around his neck."
