A COLCHESTER motorcycle dealership has been chosen by the industry's top newspaper as Britain's best showroom for the second time.

Colchester Kawasaki, based in Commerce Way, has been named Dealer of the Year by Motorcycle News.

Over the past year the firm has tripled the size of their showroom and moved into a new purpose-built warehouse, offering more than 150 used bikes to customers.

The business also offers technical support as well as vintage motorcycles and memorabilia from its new base where the firm has created a parade of smaller shops inside the unit in a bid to create a destination.

There is a cafe on site offering food and drink to hungry customers, the showroom has just opened a barbershop, The Chopping Block, and there are plans to create an on-site tattoo parlour over the next few months.
