VOTERS will get the chance to quiz the Parliamentary candidates standing to be the next Witham MP at a debate.
A hustings event is set to be held at Marks Tey Parish Hall today, starting at 7.30pm.
The Witham constituency also covers Stanway, Birch, Tiptree, Marks Tey, Copford, Coggeshall, Hatfield Peverel, Kelvedon, Great Totham, Tollesbury and Tolleshunt D'Arcy.
All four candidates are invited and Labour’s Martin Edobor has confirmed he will be attending.
Members of the audience will be able to ask questions of each candidate during a short debate.
A second hustings will be held at St Nicholas’ Church in Witham on Monday.
It will follow a similar format, with candidates making opening and closing speeches, as well as answering questions from the public.
The event gets under way at 7.30pm.
The other candidates standing to be the next Witham MP are James Abbott (Green), Sam North (Lib Dem) and Priti Patel (Con).
