EVERYONE’S favourite steam engine pulled in to Chappel to visit the East Anglian Railway Museum.
Thomas the Tank Engine was joined by little engineers and their families and even Santa Claus
himself made a special appearance.
Under the watchful eye of the Fat Controller and Sodor station sweepers Rusty and Dusty, Thomas and friends were on hand to give train rides to all of their visitors.
Thomas’ friends Daisy, Percy and Toad joined in with the festivities.
Families could enjoy unlimited train rides with the famous engines, watch reenactments of classic Sodor stories and complete their Passport To Adventures and Junior Engineer Certificates.
The museum’s Imagination Station was also stocked full of festive themed fun with Thomas crafts, games and DVDs.
Children could also meet Father Christmas in his grotto and receive an early present - if they were on the good list.
Days Out With Thomas will return next year over Easter, the August Bank Holiday, Halloween and Christmas.
Tickets will be released in the coming weeks.
Booking in advance is advised as the events are expected to sell out.
