A NEW but familiar voice will be joining a local radio station in Colchester as part of the weekend lineup.
Jeremy Durrant, who was a familiar voice on Dream 100 and SGR Colchester, is joining Actual Radio station.
Pete Chapman, the radio station’s managing director, said he is delighted to have well-known Jeremy on board.
He said: “Jeremy brings brings a wealth of radio experience with him.
“He is a known character in Colchester as owner of Rubix Bar in Crouch Street and will fit in perfectly with our output.
“Many areas have unfortunately lost their local radio station, I am determined this doesn’t happen in Colchester.
“We have an amazing team of presenters who all love our town, you can wake up with us, have us on during your workday, and take us to bed with you.”
Jeremy Durrant will present between 1pm and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday’s.
