SKATEPARKS in Colchester will reopen to the public, the council has announced.
The Colchester Council managed facilities, such as the one in Castle Park, will open again from Friday.
Skaters are advised to stick to new guidelines released by Skateboard England when returning to use the facilities.
Social distancing must be adhered to, groups should be of no more than six people and residents should avoid sharing equipment.
At outdoor parks, no more than one person should attempt a skate run at a time.
A spokesperson for Colchester Council said: “We welcome the reopening of our skateparks and look forward to seeing residents back on their boards, but we do ask people to respect the advice from Skateboard England around social distancing and Covid-19.”
