A PHARMACY in Colchester is set to celebrate a post office counter joining its site.
The Hythe Pharmacy located at Hythe Quay will host a new post office counter from Tuesday.
An official ribbon-cutting opening will take place at 1pm on Tuesday attended by Colchester councillors Tim Young, Adam Fox and Lee Scordis and Frank Mclaughlin a pharmaceutical committee representative.
The counter will offer Royal Mail postal services plus travel money.
Ben Tuffour, proprietor of The Hythe Pharmacy, said: “The entire team are proud to serve our local community, not just with medicinal advice and expertise but also offering a host of post office services which would otherwise be unavailable in the area."
The pharmacy is open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.
