A HOTEL has transformed into a magical winter wonderland in a bid to make its festive dinners and Christmassy events even more special.
Stoke by Nayland Hotel, in Keeper’s Lane, Colchester, has morphed into a magical spectacle boasting a snow-covered Santa sleigh with reindeer.
The photo-friendly seasonal hotspot also now has a Narnian forest through which guests can stroll, a Bavarian ski lodge, and a myriad of festive decorations.
The winter wonderland is said to act as a backdrop to the many exciting events set to be on offer at the hotel throughout the Christmas period.
Everything from dinner shows with comedy guests and family events with Santa Claus, to Boxing Day launches and New Year’s Eve dinners make up the calendar.
There are also special festive accommodation packages on offer for guests wishing to spend more time enjoying this magical setting and the already impressive resort.
With social distancing in mind, the hotel has also created new covered outdoor dining areas with heating and blankets where guests can enjoy stunning views of the lake.
Commercial director, Peter Osborne, said: “All of the latest strict government hygiene and social distancing procedures are in place.
“We want our customers to feel confident about being able to relax in a safe environment, and really enjoy their visit to Stoke by Nayland.”
