COLCHESTER Zoo is offering passholders the chance to extend their membership following the latest national lockdown.
The popular attraction closed its doors until further notice following Colchester's initial move into Tier 4 restrictions from Boxing Day last year.
The zoo faced a difficult year, still needing to pay to feed and care for its animals despite frequent closures and the resultant loss of income.
A spokesman said: "If you would like your zoo pass to be extended following the national lockdown please complete the form below by Friday, January 15.
"Due to the length of closure being unknown we will advise the extension period once we know to what extent zoo passholders have been affected.
"We will announce this extension period via our website, social media and E-letter in due course.
"Once confirmed, the extension period will automatically be added to those passholders who complete the extension request form."
The form can be found here.
