I JUST wanted to write to say how amazing Colchester Academy are being.
I know most schools are probably doing the same, but the online learning is fantastic on so many levels.
They are setting amazing work and activities for the children to complete, setting up online competitions in more than one subject so it covers children’s likes.
For each of my children’s subjects they are online. Even if they have their own children making noise in the background, which they try not to, of course, it just adds to the natural environment many of us are in, such as the children having siblings etc
They are so responsive to the children, helping them to complete tasks, either interacting on the live lesson or via email.

There is so much support. Some of the teachers are so funny and have such a positive way of making online learning fun.
It really has been an amazing time so far in the strange situation we are all in.
Personally, I have five children and none of them have been in school since March 2020. I’ve been home schooling and since the current lockdown was imposed they were then all able to access the remote learning.
My daughter is in Year 7 so this is the first time she has interacted with any of her teachers and they have been amazing.
