England football legend Peter Shilton has urged people to get their Covid vaccine after having his jab in Colchester.
Mr Shilton OBE, 71, who lives on Mersea Island with his wife Steph, shared his experience on social media.
In a video shared by vaccine minister Nadhim Zahawi, Mr Shilton explained the importance of the jab.
He said: "That was so easy, [I] never felt a thing.
"And I know that saved a lot of lives by having that done.
"So everyone out there go and get your jab done."

Mr Shilton was praised online by Mr Zahawi and Colchester MP Will Quince.

Peter has made a lot of big saves in his career but in getting his vaccination today, he and thousands of others are saving lives.

Mr Shilton played for the England national team at three World Cup finals and earned an unprecedented 125 caps.
He has been vocal in encouraging people to follow the coronavirus rules.
