POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a targeted attack in Colchester in which two men were hurt.
The driver of a silver Volkswagen Golf came to a stop in Othello Close, Colchester, at about 8.30pm on January 22.
A white Ford Fiesta and a black Vauxhall Astra also stopped.
Their occupants got out their cars and are reported to have pulled two passengers out of the Golf before assaulting them.
The victims, two men aged 25 and 24, did not sustain serious injuries and police believe it was a targeted attack.
All parties got back into their vehicles and drove off before a collision between all three vehicles took place in Greenstead Road.
Police arrived at the scene and arrested three men.
Two men – aged 23 and 24 – were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs. All three have been released on bail until April 14.
Police have now said they would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the assault or collision.
