A pensioner has been warned he could face prison after he admitted to a series of firearms offences.
David Cole, 73, was arrested after police searched a property in London Road, Copford, in June 2019.
Officers seized firearms and Cole was later charged.
Appearing at Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday, Cole, of London Road, Copford, admitted possessing a shotgun without a certificate, possessing a firearm without a firearms certificate and two charges of possessing a prohibited smooth-bore gun.
Cole previously admitted possession of a knife in a public place at an earlier magistrates' court hearing.
Judge Emma Peters warned Cole there is a real possibility he faces an immediate prison term.
She ordered a psychiatric report be carried out ahead of his sentence, at the same court on April 27.
