TWO women were injured after a car left the road and landed in a field just off the A12 near Colchester.
Essex Police were called to the northbound carriageway, between junctions 29 at Ardleigh and junction 30 at Langham, at around 5pm on Saturday.
A Honda Jazz had left the road and ended up in a nearby field.
The vehicle was damaged after the incident.
Two women in the vehicle, one in her 30s and the other a teenager, escaped with minor head injuries.
They were taken to hospital for treatment.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We’d like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the collision, or the car shortly before the collision happened."
Witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage is asked to contact 101, quoting incident 1086 of 27 February.
