Police have charged a man with 12 counts of criminal damage following a spate of graffitiing in Colchester town centre.
Officers from the town centre team arrested a 26-year-old man on Thursday in connection with several reports of graffiti in the area.
They believe many of the incidents are linked.
The man arrested was questioned and then charged with a dozen counts of criminal damage.

He was also charged with breaching a community protection order and will appear in court at a later date.
