EVERY neighbourhood in Colchester recorded less than six Covid cases in the latest seven day period, figures show.
According to the latest Government hotspots map, every part of the borough recorded six or less cases in the seven days to March 31.
The highest number of cases were seen in New Town and Hythe as well as Marks Tey and Wakes Colne - with each recording six.
A total of 15 parts of the borough recorded less than five Covid cases in this week with nine parts of the borough seeing less than three cases.
These areas are no longer included as hotspots of the Government map and the virus is classed as "suppressed" in these parts of the borough.
Here are the latest case numbers for each part of the borough:
- New Town & Hythe - 6 (no change)
- Marks Tey & Wakes Colne - 6 (up 50 per cent)
- Parson's Heath - 5 (down 16.7 per cent)
- Monkwick - 5 (down 58.3 per cent)
- Horkesley Heath, Langham & Dedham - 5 (up 150 per cent)
- Layer-de-la-Haye, Abberton & Mersea East - 4 (up 100 per cent)
- Mile End & Braiswick - 4 (down 55.6 per cent)
- Central Colchester - 3 (up 50 per cent)
- Stanway - 3 (down 40 per cent)
- Tiptree - 3 (up 50 per cent)
- Old Heath & Rowhedge - 3 (up 50 per cent)
- Greenstead - less than three
- Wivenhoe & University - less than three
- West Bergholt & Wormingford - less than three
- West Mersea - less than three
- Highwoods - less than three
- Abbey Field - less than three
- Lexden - less than three
- Prettygate & Westlands - less than three
- Shrub End - less than three
Colchester' average infection rate in the seven days to March 31 was 29.3 cases per 100,000 people.

This is below the average for England, which is now 43.9 cases per 100,000 people.
Tendring's infection rate in this week was 38.9 cases per 100,000 people, whilst the Essex average was 21.2 cases per 100,000 people.
