CHILDREN created and then paraded special bonnets to cap a wonderful week learning about Easter.
The Harwich Community Primary School and Nursery youngsters also enjoyed an egg hunt in their wildlife area before tucking into delicious hot-cross buns.
Nursery class teacher Serena Lindsay said: “We had such a fun week, celebrating and learning all about Easter and Easter traditions.
“The children took part in different expressive art and design activities, including ink marbling and decorating eggs.
“They also went on an egg hunt, which included observing birds in our wonderful wildlife woodland area, and pond-dipping for frogspawn.
“It’s such a beautiful school, with access to the beach and our own private woods, as well as a sports field. We’re so lucky.” Mrs Lindsay added that there are spaces in the school’s nursery for both full and part-time children.
