A crash is meant one lane of the A12 at Colchester had to be closed this afternoon.
The crash took place near to junction 28, for Colchester United's Jobserve Community Stadium, this afternoon.
It involved three vehicles.
Traffic built up in the area and drivers were advised to use alternative routes if possible.

One lane of the road had to be closed earlier this afternoon.
Police now say it has reopened, but there are still delays in the area.
All lane are now running again on the #A12 northbound just after J28 colchester. This is following and RTC that we were dealing with. #OPCcolchester
