TODAY’S Nostalgia spread is a patriotic trip down memory lane.
We’re turning the clock back a decade to share pictures of the annual St George’s Day parade through Colchester.
The event, which featured about 2,000 Cubs, Scouts, Brownies and Guides, started at Britannia car park before the youngsters made their way along St John’s Street, Head Street and High Street before finishing in Castle Park.
Various dignitaries took part in a salute outside the town hall.
The pictures on this spread were taken on Sunday, April 17, 2011.
Were you in the Cubs, Scouts, Brownies or Guides?
As ever, we’re always keen to see old pictures and share your memories and stories with our readers.
