COVID infection rates have risen in several areas of Colchester as shops, pubs and restaurants reopened again.
Figures reveal that the infection rate across the district stands at 14.4 per 100,000 people in the week leading up to April 16, up from 9.2 cases the week prior.
But the Government's hotspots map reveals that five areas of the district recorded three of more cases.
The rest of the borough has recorded less than three, meaning the virus is classed as "suppressed" in these areas.
They are not recorded on the hotspots map any longer.
Abbey Field has recorded the most cases with five, followed by Parson's Heath and Layer-de-la-Haye, Abberton and Mersea East both with four new cases.
Central Colchester and New Town and Hythe have also recorded three cases each.
