A PRESCHOOL has issued a warning following reports of a man behaving suspiciously around schools in a part of Colchester.
Squirrels Preschool, in Highwoods, is advising parents to be extra cautious after a man was sighted acting "aggressively" in the area.
The warning, shared on the preschool's social media site yesterday, said the man is described as being in his 50s with white hair.
A statement from the preschool, rated Outstanding by education watchdog Ofsted, said: "We would advise parents to be extra cautious and to remind children about the dangers of talking to strangers.
"If any parents see anyone acting suspiciously, please contact the police."
The original alert is understood to have been sent by Highwoods Community Primary School head Paul Disley.
