MERSEA'S beach and iconic pastel beach huts have featured in a clothing brands latest campaign.
Freemans's Funshine campaign for Bon Prix is being shown on TV and social media.
It features Strictly Come Dancing star Karen Hauer and a host of dancers showcasing the clothes at West Mersea beach.
The advert sees groups posing and dancing by the island's pastel beach huts before running about on the beach in a range of outfits.
Filming for the advert took place in April and Karen posted an on location shot on her Instagram page showing her on the beach in a winter's coat.
Karen has appeared on the BBC dance show since 2012 and finished second place last year with Made in Chelsea star Jaime Laing.
She has also been partnered with TOWIE star Mark Wright, Jeremy Vine, Charles Venn and Chris Ramsey.
Mersea has been a popular place for filming in recent months with filming for the AppleTV+ series The Essex Serpent reportedly taking place.
Pictures showed Claire Danes in Victorian dress filming on a boat alongside co-star Frank Dillane.

The adaptation of Sarah Perry’s 2016 novel of the same name follows newly widowed Cora, played by Golden Globe winner Claire Danes who, having been released from an abusive marriage, relocates from Victorian London to the small village of Aldwinter in Essex.
West Mersea Beach was also named as one of the most dog-friendly places to visit in the UK last year.
It was recognised in the list by pet emergency service Vets Now.
The beach was described as "relaxing and welcoming" by dog walkers on the island.
