A MAN is wanted by police after a report of a train passenger exposing himself while on board.
British Transport Police are investigating the incident which happened shortly after a train departed Basildon bound for London.
The police say it happened on Monday March 1.
A spokesman for the police said: "Do you recognise this man?
"Officers investigating an indecent exposure offence on-board a train travelling from Essex to London are today releasing images in connection.
"At just after 2pm on Monday 1 March, the victim boarded a service at Basildon railway station and took a seat.

"A man then sat on a seat in the adjacent aisle and a short while later exposed himself before touching himself inappropriately.
"The victim then challenged his behaviour and he stopped before walking through the carriage and disembarking the train at West Horndon railway station.
"Officers believe the man in the images may have information which could help their investigation."
