Man charged with attempted murder after woman seriously injured

He stood trial for one count of actual bodily harm and was convicted at Chelmsford Crown Court in March 2022. He was jailed for 20 months in April 2022. The full sentencing story can be read here
A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after an incident in Chelmsford.
Essex Police were called to Baddow Road, just after 5.15pm on Wednesday.
Upon arrival they found a woman had sustained serious injuries and required hospital treatment.
Jesse Mayhand, 27, of Hurricane Place, Ipswich, has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the incident.
