POLICE have seized a vehicle after a driver was caught speeding down Colchester High Street.
Officer's from Essex Police's Roads Policing Unit stopped the vehicle in the town centre on Tuesday.
The driver was issue a Section 59 warning and seizure notice at the scene.

A spokesman for Essex Police Colchester said: "Officers from the Roads Policing Unit have just stopped this vehicle.
"The driver thought it was a good idea to drive down Colchester High Street at dangerous speeds, causing people to run out the way.
"We have now seized the vehicle and and driver has been reported."
