PLANS for 17 new homes to be built in a village are set to be approved.
W Bradshaw & Son's plans to create the new estate on land east of Plummers Road, Fordham, have been recommended for approval to the planning committee.
The plans feature 30 per cent affordable housing and will be a mix of two, three and four-bed properties.
The site has been allocated for housing in Colchester Council's emerging Local Plan.
