A COLCHESTER street is closing for three days while work is carried out by Anglian Water.
Berechurch Road will shut from its junction with Britannia Mews for three days from July 5.
It is for pipe repair works, but a detour is available via Berechurch Road, Mersea Road, Abbots Road, Berechurch Hall Road, Roman Way, Hooper Avenue and Berefield Way.
* Anglian Water is also carrying out work in Malting Green Road, Layer-de-la-Haye.
It will close from its junctions with Birch Road and Rye Lane, for 19 days from July 5.
An alternative route is available via Old Forge Road, Malting Green Road, High Road, Layer Road, Berechurch Hall Road, Berechurch Road, Bounstead Road, Bounstead Hill and Abberton Road.
* Look out for an overnight road closure in Chitts Hill, Colchester.
Cooks Lane is closing on July 10 and July 24 (both 11pm until 8am) because of work being carried out by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
* County Broadband Ltd is carrying out work in Crepping Hall Road, Wakes Colne.
The road will close from its junctions with Fordham Road and Chappel Road for five days from July 5.
An alternative route is available via Crepping Hall Road, Vernons Road, Colchester Road, Spring Gardens Road, Boarded Barn Road and Jankes Green Road.
* A Thorpe road is closing for a period of nine days, from July 5.
Golden Lane will shut from its junctions with Colchester Road and Harwich Road, because of carriageway patching being undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Colchester Road, High Street, Landermere Road and Harwich Road.
* Drivers should be aware of a road closure in Station Road, Ardleigh.
It will close overnight on July 10 and July 24 (both 11pm until 8am).
Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd is working in the area, but an alternative route is available via Station Road, Slough Lane, Frating Road, Ardleigh Road, Colchester Road, Bromley Road, Parsons Heath Roundabout, Parsons Heath, Fox Street and John De Bois Hill.
* Elsewhere in Ardleigh, Bromley Road is closing for two days from Saturday, June 26, because of work by Openreach.
* Look out for a road closure in Alexandra Road, Colchester, from its junctions with Maldon Road and Butt Road.
It will shut for three days on Tuesday, June 15.
* A busy Clacton road is shutting for two nights from Saturday, June 26.
Burrs Road is closing on June 26 and 27, from 11pm until 7.30am and 11pm until 5.30am respectively.
It is while panel replacement works are carried out by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
* Church Road, in Thorrington, will be closed on Monday, June 21, while work is carried out by Openreach workers.
An alternative route is available via Church Road, Clacton Road and Chapel Lane.
* Ellis Road, in Boxted, is closing from its junctions with Queens Head Road and Mill Road for three days from Tuesday, June 22.
It is because of carriageway patching works.
