POLICE are currently at the scene of an incident in a Colchester park.
Officers from Colchester's policing team put a cordon in place in lower Castle Park this morning following an 'incident'.
The nature of the incident has not yet been disclosed by the force.
The cordon was subsequently removed by officers at about 10am.
A spokesman for the force said: "We are currently on scene at an incident in lower castle park and have a cordon in place.
"We appreciate your patience and will hopefully be able to open the cordon soon."

Essex Police have now provided an update on the incident.

Officers were called with concerns for the welfare of a man in Kings Meadow, in Colchester, shortly after 5.10am.
Police arrived, and sadly found the man had died.
A spokesman for the force said: "There are no suspicious circumstances around his death and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
