FIVE teenagers will be voluntarily interviewed after an incident at a Tesco supermarket in Colchester.
Essex Police were called to Tesco Hythe, in Greenstead Road, Colchester, at about 9pm on Monday following reports of a theft.
Residents reported a huge police presence at the scene, with at least six vehicles called to the store.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Four teenage girls and one teenage boy were taken home by officers and will be voluntarily interviewed at a later date.
"The shop remained open."

Tesco said yesterday the store was open as usual following the incident on Monday evening.
