A NEW monthly market is launching bringing together independent traders from across Colchester and the surrounding areas.
Colchester Community Market, which was created as a Facebook group at the start of the pandemic, has organised its first four in-person events.
Taking place at Green Island Gardens, in Park Road, Ardleigh, on the last Friday of each month, the event will bring together 30 independent stallholders.
Each will be a regular member of the virtual market events and everything from sweet treats to arts and crafts will be for sale.
Entry is free of charge, with entrance to the gardens costing £8 for adults and £2.50 for children.
There is also a tearoom and free parking on site, with the 105 bus from Colchester to Walton stopping just outside upon request.
Disabled parking, disabled toilets and baby changing facilities all available and the site is wheelchair accessible.
