POLICE officers pulled a woman on the wrong side of a bridge above a busy road to safety.
Officers from Essex Police's Force Support Unit were driving along the A12 in Colchester on Friday when a member of the public alerted them to a woman on the wrong side of a bridge.
Following the alert, officers found the woman in and pulled her to safety.
They ensured she was given the help she needed.
A spokesman for the force thanked the public who assisted with the incident.
