AN aerial video shows the progress on a new supermarket being built at a new estate of up to 1,600 homes.
Mersea Homes have released a video of the construction works continuing at Chesterwell Plaza, at the Chesterwell development in Mile End.
The developer said on Facebook: "Chesterwell Plaza update the roof has now been installed.
"Chesterwell Plaza will consist of first-class community facilities, including an East of England Co-op, retail space, a café, nursery, a primary and secondary school and a landscaped plaza.⠀
"Look closely you can spot Chesterwell Mews."

Chesterwell could eventually reach up to 1,600 homes once all the new homes are complete.
There will also be a new primary and secondary school on site.
