PLANS for a long-awaited supermarket store to be built at a new estate have moved one step closer to becoming a reality.
A new Co-op is set to be built at part of the old the former Severalls Hospital site, off Whitmore Drive, for residents of the nearby new estates.
Plans have been in the pipeline for several years, with a planning application for the new store being approved last June.
Fresh plans to discharge a number of conditions related to the development have now been revealed.
The conditions include traffic management for the development, cycle parking and materials for the building.
