A MAN has been charged with drug offences after being stopped and searched in Colchester High Street.
Officers were patrolling the high street when they noticed a male acting suspiciously.
They used their stop and search powers.

After the search a 20-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Officers continued the investigation throughout the night and have now charged the arrested male with three offences.
"He was remanded in custody and will appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court today."
