DRIVERS should be aware of a three-day road closure in Colchester.
Barn Hall Avenue is shutting from its junctions with Roosevelt Way and Old Heath Road, from July 14.
It is while carriageway patching works are carried out by Essex County Council workers.
But an alternative route is available via Old Heath Road, Whitehall Road, Abbots Road, Mersea Road, Normandy Avenue, Churchill Way and Barn Hall Avenue.
* Drivers will have to cut their speed when passing through Peldon during roadworks next month.
A temporary 30mph limit is being introduced in Colchester Road, from its junction with Langenhoe Hall Lane.
The restriction will be in place for three days, starting on July 26, from 10am until 3pm.
It is while drainage works are carried out by Essex County Council.* Coles Oak Lane, in Dedham, is shutting from its junction with Monks Lane North.
The closure will last for five days, from July 26, while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Coles Oak Lane, Ipswich Road, Stratford Road and Colchester Road.
* Look out for a road closure in Harts Lane, Ardleigh next month.
Openreach are working in the area, so it will close for two days from July 26.
An alternative route is available via Harts Lane, Old Ipswich Road, Wick Lane and Dead Lane.
* Anglian Water are planning work in Marks Tey.
It means Jays Lane will be closing, near its junction with Godmans Lane.
The closure is only due to last one day, on July 27.
An alternative route is available via Jays Lane, Godmans Lane, Wilsons Lane and Long Green.* Nayland Road, in Great Horkesley, is closing for a day in August.
It is shutting from its junctions with Ivy Lodge Road and Coach Road on August 1, while communication pipe repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
* A road in Wakes Colne is closing for five days, while work is carried out by UK Power Networks.
Parkhurst Green Lane will shut near its junction with Middle Green for five days from July 26.
It is while new connection works are carried out.
But an alternative route is available via Parkhurst Green Lane, Brookfield Road, Wakes Colne Road, Bures Road, Colchester Road, Tyburn Hill, Lane Road and Middle Green.
* Overnight work by Network Rail Infrastructure will have an impact on drivers in Station Road, Thorrington.
The road is closing from its junctions with Church Road and Great Bentley Road on July 31, from 12.01am until 8.30am.
* Winters Hill, in Layer Marney, is shutting for five days from its junctions with Clears Road and Roundbush Road.
The closure is scheduled to start on July 26, while drainage investigation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Smythes Green, Maldon Road and Roundbush Road.
* Look out for a three-day road closure in Birch Park, Birch.
The road is closing from its junctions with Maldon Road and Garlands Road, from July 12, while drainage investigation works are carried out by Essex County Council.
