A MAN who was caught riding an e-scooter whilst over the drink drive limit has received a driving ban.
Essex Police's Colchester Community Policing Team stopped the e-scooter rider in Lexden Road, Colchester, last month.
Officers said he was seen to be "swerving from left to right as he drove away from the town centre".
He was breath tested at the side of the road and found to be about double the legal limit, which was confirmed after a further test in custody.
