FIREFIGHTERS were called out to reports of people climbing on the roof of a building as delirious England fans took to the streets to celebrate.
Essex Police reported several incidents of disorder across the county following England’s historic semi-final win.
In Colchester fans in Colchester cut loose following England’s 2-1 victory over Denmark in extra time at Wembley.
Pictures showed celebrations spilling out into Head Street and High Street after the historic victory.
Police were in the town centre as fans poured out of pubs to mark the moment.
The Three Lions qualified for their first final in a major tournament since 1996 when Harry Kane slotted home a penalty rebound in extra time in front of 60,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.

Firefighters were called to Head Street amid reports of people on roofs and police arrested two people.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “In Colchester, crowds took to Head Street and the High Street and we arrested two men - a 21-year-old from West Yorkshire and a 25-yearold from Kirby-le-Soken - on suspicion of committing a public order offence.”
Firefighters were also called to Head Street, Colchester at 11:40pm after reports of people on a roof.
A spokesman said: “Fire crews used thermal imaging cameras to check the roof area, but no one was found.”
