ALL of Colchester is once again included on the Covid hotspots map, with cases rises significantly across the borough.
Infection rates across the town are on the up, with multiple areas reporting dozens of cases in the latest seven day period.
According to the latest Government hotspots map, in the week to July 3, both Old Heath and Rowhedge and Greenstead reported 42 cases of Covid.
Abbey Field now has the highest infection rate in the borough - of 482.9 cases per 100,000 people - reporting 38 cases during this week.
Old Heath and Rowhedge has the second highest infection rate in the borough - of 457.1 cases per 100,000 people.
Lexden saw the least number of cases, nine, during this period with an infection rate of 158.8 cases per 100,000 people.

Colchester's average Covid infection rate continue to rise at pace.

In the week to July 4 it was 235.2 cases per 100,000 people.
This is because there were 458 cases of coronavirus confirmed in the borough during this week.
The average infection rate has increased from 141.2 cases per 100,000 people a week earlier.
Tendring's average infection rate also continues to rise and is now 138.2 cases per 100,000 people.
Colchester's average rate is, however, below the average for England of 263.9 cases per 100,000 people.
The average across Essex is 192.1 cases per 100,000 people.
